So, a little bit about me. Since growing up next door to a Rugby League field I think I was destined to be involved in sport. And this it was, in a range from playing A Grade rugby league for Doonside, representing Blacktown in 1st Grade Cricket and also recently having a crack at Athletics for the Asics West club. After playing rugby league as a junior for many years, once I became 18 I had a break for 2 years. But realising it was time to try come back I was a very modest 70kg! Realising I needed something to help me put on some weight was what got me into supplementation. The fact that food alone was not helping too much, over 3 years I managed to get myself up to 95kg with a variety of supplements, obviuosly with good eating, training and rest! In this time i played A Grade and managed to win a premiership. Moving on from there I took a crack at Athletics. With the different training methods and the the realisation that 95kg was a bit too heavy to be a sprinter back I came. With some very intense training, strict eating and obviuosly supplementation I managed to get my weight down to 80kg. With this i managed to acheive personal best times of 11.1sec, 22.6sec and 50.8sec in the 100, 200 and 400m respectively. So I suppose it just goes to show practice what you preach! Hopefully through my experiences I can help guide and suggest ways for others to acheive the best results possible.
Although I am not a bodybuilder and never plan to be one, i still managed to get myself in shape. Pics taken 29-6-08. |
